No excuses no rationale, poachers should be killed on the spot no mercy, they gave none to the animal so they get none!! See how many try this when they know they will pay the ultimate price and if you cant make a living get the hell out of there and let the animals live in peace.
I know this is bad.but you got to think that those people over there are starving. Not only sell tusk they feed villages on elephant meat.I think it's against the law to have the meat but they have no way to make income and I bet its horrible to try in survive their.if you want to stop the poaching then got to put in programs to feed and have jobs for people doing this.it is heartbreaking to see such beautiful animal that probably older than all of us slaughtered.that goes for other animals like tigers,rhinos,etc.I know China huge buyer of tusks.

What are we? Uncivilized, draconian, Muslim extremist, Greco-Roman, homicidal, carnage craving, vengeful, sociopaths? Should we start cutting hands off for stealing and slicing tongues out for lying too? Those guys carrying the tusk and the man in the background didn't kill the beautiful animal. It states in the article it was killed illegally and those guys took the tusks so the poacher's couldn't.
