People asking for death penalty of the sellers should simply boycott all ivory products if they have sympathy towards these poor animals.
This people like to portray Africa as a dark continent full of heartless people yet they are the heartless ones. They are the source of most of the poaching. And they would report on the leading masterminds in there country who pay people to poach our wildlife, Visit Kenya and get to learn the source of poaching and why they poach all because you need constant supply of Ivory and tusks and horn products.
Well done China! As determining, this people should prohibit all the products from ivory, should ban all the ivory products. Already rhino is in danger, walking towards their extinction and they were killing a large bunch of animals. If they really want to sell their products, let this be happen with cold blooded animals because warm blooded animal only give birth which quantity will be one but not in case of cold blooded. We don't have any words to humiliate Kenya people. Just I can say that Asia people prohibit all the products from ivory.
After killing so much animals now you burning the ivory? Makes no sense, sell the ivory and charge the people who support the illegal trade or the lives of the animal lost would be lost in double vain.
As long as there are rich, smiling, American Trophy Hunters willing to pay the price, there will always be a supply of animals with ivory to supply the demand. It is the seed that does the spreading.
Well, It's happen because of over population where there is rapid growth of unemployment and youth are compile to do such illegal job and some youth joined in terrorist group. Lastly there is no solution rather it will go forever till the earth itself vanished.
