He is starting the weaning process I'm down to two feedings a day. But nothing helps his nap like mamma's milk. I'll bet if babies could talk, they'd tell us they're thankful for milk! I know my girl would. Since they can't, their chubby bellies and milk drunk faces will have to do the talking for them.
I'm so sorry to hear that and can sympathize. Unfortunately ties are still controversial and many doctors don't think they're responsible for the issues they cause though it's so damn obvious. Moms and babies suffer through the symptoms. There's a big push starting to check for and clip ties at birth and prevent all of the problems that arise. You're such a great mom for giving it the effort! Trying to nurse with ties is not for the weak.

My two first weren't, and my third had both lip and tongue ties - after two weeks, I wanted to quit. I realized that a lot of women must do exactly that - give up because of the pain, not knowing that it's fixable and can get better. That was why I started to volunteer my time to help women through education.
