This is a really accurate and eloquent picture of being over a heartbreak yet thinking about them with seemingly ever present rose-colored glasses. The longing is almost all gone, perhaps totally gone, but that particular love grew so great and so deep that you are still living in and through this feeling, although their life has long since stopped intertwining with yours. Beautiful and yet so short! I love when only a couple of sentences captures an entire state of mind.
Perhaps in another lifetime then. If we were meant to do this every century, then I should say my sincere apologies for meeting you with the right feelings at the wrong time. I'll do better next time.

Forgetting doesn't take long unless you want to let it stay if accepting don't exist. Mind works magically, if we think about how many times we can change our moods easily then same way as forgetting.
