This gave me an interesting thought. I wonder how the gut Microbiome would differ in those who eat a diet containing insects. The seasonal increase in sugar consumption of the Hazda foragers could be correlated with the increase in sugar consumption of Westerns during the holiday season. However, our processed carbohydrates probably do not benefit our microbe friends as much as those of the Hazda.

Do you know where they get their "bhang" from? Is it collected from wild plants in the bush or do they trade it with other people?
